2000 Bordeaux

Michael san has chosen wines for a '2000 Bordeaux' theme.  2000 Bordeaux is acclaimed as the best vintage in 20 years or more.  6 bottles of 2000 Bordeaux was selected, then 2 bottles of 1999 and one Italian for comparison. However, the most favorite wine tonight was, contrary to our expectation, the Italian one. Ca'Mercanda is also categorized as Bordeaux style thou. Would we have waited a little longer to be favor to Bordeaux?
