June 17, 2005

The place held:
the Restaurant Cuisine 219,
Southern Castle Building B1
2-19-3 Minami-Aoyama
Minato-ku, Tokyo

Sellected by:
Mark, Michael, and Monty+Akiko

Comments:
We have put Sauvignon Blanc together from all over the world. It was the joint effort of 4 selectors.
More than a half of attendees prefered French wines as the first. They are higher in price and aged comparing to others. There also is about ¼ of people think they are the last. We expected Cloudy Bay to do better than this, but it is 2004 after all. Duckhorn is the second and cutting right into the middle of French. Duckhorn is a good buy for the price.
