The last tasting of The Tokyo Wine Society was held at the restaurent Bon Chere, Shampia Hotel Akasaka with wine from Rhone. We drunk Cote Rotie, Hermitage, Cheteauneuf-du-Pape, and the new style VinDePays in Rhone. We have enjoyed flowerly nose to celebrate the spring has come. One bottle of Cuvee MYTHIQUE was obviously corked so that the result might not represent its true performance. The winner tonight was Chapoutier production of Syrah in the new world. But ranking might be different if Ch.d-Ampuis and La Sizeranne had enough time to pick up.
We have also announced about TWS 100th tasting and are planning to form the executive committee to discuss about it.
