TOKYO WINE SOCIETY TASTING

Bordeaux Reds

May 19, 2006

The place held:
the Restaurant Cuisine 219,
Southern Castle Building B1
2-19-3 Minami-Aoyama
Minato-ku, Tokyo

Bordeaux wines we have chosen are from MEDOC-GRAVES area, and they have typical left bank characters with Cabernet Sauvignon in the core. The challengers are from the New World and later than 2000 but should be good to drink. They are Bordeaux type, and with Cabernet Sauvignon in the core.
As we learned by experience, the fact that the South African wine was the most preferred wine for the night did not surprise us. We have just confirmed that we like the South African wine because of the cost efficiency, and that Bordeaux wine is not so costly efficient but we still like the wine.
